Who is Honeypot?

Honeypot Destination Marketing was set up in 2011 by two former Destination Marketing Managers. Debi Rice and Juliet Steinmetz have over 40 years marketing and destination management experience between them having operated one of the UK’s longest standing tourism marketing partnerships based in Kent, managed Tourist Information Centre functions and successfully managed and marketed destinations to visitors from all over the world.

Their firsthand and detailed knowledge of the UK tourism industry and understanding of the challenges faced by tourism businesses and organisations of all shapes and sizes is extensive.

Debi and Juliet are both qualified and very experienced marketers, both having worked in the private and public sectors. They have lots of experience of working with, advising and supporting tourism businesses of all shapes and sizes in setting up, improving their offer to visitors and marketing to the wider market. They understand many of the challenges which confront destinations and their businesses - large and small and can provide practical and clear advice and support.

Honeypot takes on individual projects and interim positions. It also operated Discover the Garden of England - a destination marketing organisation set up to specifically to support and promote businesses in Kent and Sussex, using both new and more traditional marketing methods.
